GESWO Service Offering #01

ODS Cutover Integration

🔍 What is this Service Offering about?

A successful cutover is not decided on the go-live weekend itself. It is decided when your program is structured. With GESWO ODS Integration, we embed critical cutover governance, milestone skeletons, and risk management directly into your Outcome Delivery Structure (Project, Program, or Portfolio) right from the start.

Your Benefits at a Glance:

  • Full Budget Predictability: Transparent fixed prices across 4 clear scaling tiers – instead of endless consulting hours.
  • Seamless Synchronization: No isolated planning silos. Your cutover skeleton breathes in sync with your high-level project roadmap.
  • Immediate Readiness: Receive instantly usable, board-ready deliverables and frameworks based on our official reference standard.

Protect your critical path before risks emerge. Choose the appropriate project size below for your complimentary scope assessment.

🎯 Target Audience

Program managers, portfolio managers, and PMO leads who want to methodically ensure a successful go-live from Day 1.

💡 Value Proposition

A successful cutover doesn’t begin weeks before go-live, but rather with the definition of project structures. We seamlessly integrate cutover management into your existing Outcome Delivery Structure (ODS)—whether it’s your project, program, portfolio, or epic. This ensures that milestones, dependencies, and governance are aligned with the final production launch from the very beginning.

📦 Specific Deliverables

– 1 –
GESWO Go-Live Strategy, Scope Definition

We define the strategic and organizational guidelines for your future go-live, tailored to your ODS governance.

  • Blueprint architecture: Definition of all mandatory sections and milestones of the future go-live strategy (PPT outline).
  • Governance Interfaces: Definition of roles and decision-making paths between the cutover management team and the ODS governing bodies (Steering Committee, Program Board).
  • Scope Delimitation & Criteria: Initial definition of scope inclusions/exclusions for the cutover, as well as the methodological establishment of preliminary go/no-go criteria.

– 2 –
ODS-Synchronized Cutover Schedule

We do not create an isolated schedule, but rather align the cutover phases directly with the roadmap of your program or portfolio.

  • Macro-Level Alignment: Creation of a high-level cutover schedule that is perfectly aligned with the phases (e.g., testing, data migration waves, hypercare) of the ODS.
  • Dependency Mapping: Identification of critical paths between the ODS’s technical deliverables and the necessary cutover preparations.
  • Resource & Wave Planning: Scheduling milestones for dress rehearsals (mock cuts) in alignment with the overarching release cycles.

💰 Project Duration, Process, and Costs

The integration of cutover management into your Outcome Delivery Structure (ODS) takes place in stages and adapts to the dynamics of your project. We do not follow a rigid waterfall model but instead continuously deliver value-adding artifacts.

The GESWO Approach: The duration specified is the total lead time during which we collaborate closely with your PMO, program, and IT leaders in focused workshops.

Your benefit: After just the first 2 weeks, you’ll have the core governance framework and strategic blueprint in hand—we’ll use the remaining time for deep integration, dependency mapping, and final coordination with all ODS stakeholders.

Package & Complexity Project Days Fixed Price (Net)

Program Level (5w) 25 days €25,000

Portfolio Level (9w) 45 days €45,000

The prices listed here cover “standard” brownfield, bluefield, or greenfield projects and programs. For multinational rollouts, extensive template-based approaches, and regionalizations, carve outs or replacement of complex legacy applications – an ODS can be quite complex. For large-scale projects and transformations, we prepare a customized quote following a scoping session.
