On-site assignments are generally limited to a few days per month. Paraguay operates under a territorial tax system. For you as an international client, no Paraguayan taxes or withholdings apply. Invoicing is processed as a tax-exempt export of services, net of Paraguayan VAT (0% IVA). You only pay the agreed consulting fees.
Compliance Note: Since the consulting services are physically performed in Paraguay, the revenue is duly taxed locally by the Paraguayan service provider in accordance with domestic statutory requirements (IRE/IRP).

Invoices are officially issued from Paraguay as a tax-exempt export of services (0% VAT / Exenta). Payments can be conveniently made via international bank transfer (SWIFT), Wise, or other major payment providers. For companies in the US or Europe, the process is straightforward and fully compliant, without creating any additional local tax liabilities or withholding requirements in the client’s home country.
